i couldnt answer
the heat from his face and the
force in his eyes and the
skill in his hands and the
pain in my gut and the
list in his pocket...the
names on that list being
names of my people the
names of my family the
women i loved but he
copied their names with
my pen and my paper he
stole them from me
while i sat in my chair
