Christina Gavin (Calixta10@aol.com) writes: I'm a waitress with a college

education- ( my BA from Nassau Community is really taking me places...).

I currently study at the William Esper acting conservatory, and somehow

I find the time to play music for dance classes. I am a classicly

trained pianist, I give lessons to little kids- I go into french restaurants

once a week and pretend I'm some jaded parisian. I am twenty-one, and so far,

my life is located in New York.

we go sleeping into red wet beddings,

bed wet weddings (put that somewhere)

on your finger .

i went dancing harem, here am I and i am

sick of threatening lightening, fighting-

threadbare, fanfare loin-enlightening.

watching window as if

there is nothing else beyond it and

there isn't, is there, ever since

the room has clothed us in.

the walls are closing in, so.

are my eyes? are they are ever?

rolling plenty of heavy brown pennies

i've thought to myself out loud in my head.

i've run into fortune, i've rolled out of bed.

do i have enough change on me

to counterfeit myself a bill -

to count her, fit her inter-winter

snugwarm within the pockets of my genes-?

makes me think there's a copy of my worth

in god. we trust

the streets are still out there, yes,

audibly augmented. we hear some woman's

voice swearing, this city her old man

invented. and i'm just

noticing the architecture of your eyes.

which one of us is bulit to live here-?
