Juliette, My Juliette!
I was watching an
old "Wonder Years"
and Juliette Lewis (guest-
starring or
something -- I don't
think she was famous
yet) said "Ed's
got a plan." What
a great line:
"Ed's got a
plan." And the
way she said
it!: "Ed's got a
plan." What a great
line. What a
great gal!
25 Lines that Aren't REally About T.V. Violence
(like I would care)
Even though That's the Title I Originally Came Up With
(and please notice the scansion)
I'm an
extremely
peaceful
person. But
every
time I watch
t.v.
I sit and
dismantle
my black
and silver
handgun,
and then put
it back
together.
Sometimes
I flick
the bullets
out of
the clip with
my thumb.
I reload
it and
repeat the
procedure.
promise
it's the lack of everything the feeling
i had with you then the darkness and
mystery of the happy unknown and it's
not so bad now but the never recapturing
of anything most of all the promise
of promise now gilded over by a not
so bad now but still the comfort of
a future with promise to be dealt with
at a later date unlike the not so bad
now where promise is not and future
is and has to be dealt with and not
so bad really is only euphemism and
gloss for the sad fruition of all the
promise in the world
after the apocalypse
there are things
that have pained
me more
in life
than my constant
killing of
cockroaches.
however,
i am not
sure that i
handle the
situation in the
best possible
manner.
still,
there isn't enough
raid in the
world to
kill all of
the bastards
dead enough to
suit me.
The Moon is a Ball
I saw the clear, full moon on TV:
huge and white,
blotchy as if it were broken.
"Disgusting," I said,
"It looks like a big ball."
I ran outside to see if I could find it.
It was there, more vivid and three-
dimensional
than on TV.
"It's true," I said.
"The moon is a ball."
And I was enveloped in a fold of nausea,
and the moon was closer than the trees
and the dark and shining cars
in the parking lot.
Ronald Reagan
haha
That was just a
joke, right?
