There's also a Volume #2 for 1995, and if you're interested, you can get to it by simply
I hope this format is agreeable to everyone. I notice it prints better in some circumstances than it looks on a terminal.
It's been an interesting year. RealPoetik's first. We went from zero subscribers to well over 500, including the various bulletin boards and other organs which subscribed and made us available to their members. We continue to increase in size, gradually, as we get listed and reviewed in various places, and as word-of-mouth spreads.
Word-of-mouth is especially important in terms of submissions. As you probably already know, RealPoetik is unlike almost all other literary spaces on the internet in that we actively solicite work from off the net. The reason being that the writers I want to publish mostly (still) don't have access to email. In any event, I'm pleased to say that as of the end of 1994, RealPoetik was finally beginning to get some reasonable amounts of material of reasonable quality through snail mail. About 50% of our material comes off of the internet, which is of course much more convenient. I expect that proportion to hold pretty steady. Some folks off the internet will get email, and some folks off the internet will hear about us and make a submission.
We are still looking for submissions, and these can be emailed to salasin@wln.com
salasin@wln.com or sent on disc or diskette (ascii please) to:
And we're still looking for subscribers, just send email to listproc@ wln.com, no Subject:, and a single line of text which reads: subscribe RPOETIK Your Name (please note spelling of rpoetik).
