Freeway Construction
Please note that the major freeway through Seattle, I-5, will be undergoing major construction August 10-29. Teams staying in the vicinity of Green Lake should not be affected, but anyone traveling to Seattle from the south should give themselves ample time to reach the lake. Construction details available at www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/I5/SpokaneStreetBridgeRepair.
Bus Information
Use Metro Transit's Trip Planner for current bus information.
Spectators
Racing will be visible from most areas around the lake. Of special interest are the 1000m starts, visible from the Bathhouse Theatre/Swiming area at the northwest end of the lake, and the finish line visible from the Aquatic Center at the southwest end of the lake. The Aqua Theater has seating and gives a great view down the length of the racecourse from the finish area.
