Seattle Community Network Association

General Information

Seattle Community Network Association

Seattle Community Network started as a project of the Seattle Chapter of Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR). On July 28th, 1995, the Seattle Community Network incorporated as a separate non-profit, the Seattle Community Network Association, or SCNA. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and our commitment is to access to technology and free speech.

SCN.org (the network) continues to be a primary project of SCNA, supporting free email and web site hosting. However, SCNA also supports other projects, including The Computer Giveaway Project and a variety of workshops for novice and experienced users.
