Getting to the Senior Center of West Seattle

The Senior Center of West Seattle (SCWS) is located on Oregon Street one block North of the Alaska Street junction. The Computer Lab is on the second floor of the building.

Getting there:

From I5: Take the West Seattle exit (Exit 163A), cross over the bridge and follow Fauntleroy up the hill. When Fauntleroy turns left toward the Vashon ferry, stay in the right-hand lanes for Alaska Street. From Alaska Street, turn right on 42nd to the parking lot.

By Metro Transit:
The number 37, 54, 55, and 57 all serve the Alaska Junction from downtown Seattle. Stops are on SW Alaska Street just West of California Avenue SW.

Parking:
The parking lot off 42nd Street offers free parking with a 3-hour limit. On-street parking is readily available but most areas have a 2-hour limit. On-street parking on 41st and 42nd between Oregon Street and Alaska Street has no time limit. Parking on Oregon Street East of 42nd also is unlimited.
Breaks are taken during classes to allow cars to be moved between parking areas.
