Seattle Commission for Sexual Minorities: The Commission's role is to effectively address and present the concerns of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered citizens of Seattle to the mayor, city council, and all city departments. The Commission was formerly known as the "Seattle Commission for Lesbians and Gays." The Commission recommends legislation, policy, programs and budget items to the mayor, city council and city departments.
