Seattle Men's
Wisdom Council

One of North America's oldest ongoing gatherings of men; we gather to listen to life stories, celebrate masculinity and find support in facing life's challenges.

The music and dancing at the beginning of the council is a self-evolved ritual which helps separate the Council from the outside world and brings us into a dynamic and spirited environment. We are guided by evolving traditions of authentic expression, respect, safety and confidentiality. Abiding by these traditions creates the framework for a wholesome gathering.

We welcome men of all ages, races and sexual preferences. We invite you to share who you truly are. Everyone deserves respect in the sacred circle of men, whether or not you agree with what a man has to say. We spontaneously share our stories and feelings from our hearts, however uncomfortable that may be sometimes. This way of participating is what makes the Council so rich and nurturing.

The Council meets the first Saturday morning of every month
