Members' Exhibitions

Joan Stuart Ross is exhibiting twelve recent encaustic and collage on wood paintings in an exhibition titled "Painting Color!" at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, 151 Winslow Way E., Bainbridge Island, a few blocks from the ferry terminal.

Ildikó Kalapács is exhibiting some sculptures and paintings at Walden's Art Gallery at El Centro de la Raza (2524 South 16th Avenue - on Beacon Hill, Seattle, phone: (206) 323-1273).
The exhibition will be up until Saturday, February 17th. Hours: Tues-Wed: noon-5; Thurs: 2-8 p.m.; Fri-Sat: noon-5.

The Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) announces Summerfest! 2001, July 14-15 in Marina Park in Downtown Kirkland. Artists working in all media are invited to participate in this spirited annual community arts celebration, which draws over 35,000 visitors each year to the shores of Lake Washington.

Summerfest! 2001 will present over 120 artists, musical entertainment, artists-in-action demonstrations, children's art activities, a collective sculpture project and selected food vendors.

Interested artist participants should send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to receive an application to:

The Kirkland Arts Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. Proceeds from Summerfest! 2001 benefit educational programming at our community visual arts school and gallery, and outreach to the community.
The Kirkland Arts Center is located at the corner of 7th Avenue and Market Street in Kirkland, Washington.
Hours for exhibits in the Peter Kirk Gallery are Monday through Friday, 11am to 6pm, second Thursdays until 8pm and Saturdays by appointment.
The Gallery is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. The Arts Center offers quarterly classes in the visual arts for students of all ages and levels.

The Confluence Gallery in Twisp, WA is planning an exhibit called "Gone Birding", Art for the Love of Birds.
We are seeking artwork with bird imagery. A more detailed description can be requested. The show will run from April 14 until May 28th.
The work would have to be received in Twisp by April 9. Caryl Campbell will select the work prior to April 1st. Those that are interested should send slides, photos, colored copies to her.
