Violet leaves are very effective in healing and give prompt relief in internal ulcers. For cancer they are a proven remedy. Use externally for this purpose as a poultice, and take the tea internally. For cancer and cancerous growth and other skin diseases, violet is especially beneficial when combined with red clover and vervaine. Violet is a successful remedy in tumors, gout, coughs, colds, sore throat, sores, ulcers, scrofula, syphilis, bronchitis, and difficult breathing due to gasses and morbid matter in the stomach and bowels. Violet is wonderful for nervousness or general debility when combined with nerveroot, scullcap, or black cohosh. Relieves severe headache and congestion in the head. Very effective for whooping cough.
