Botanical Name: Borago officinalis
Common Names: Burroge, bugloss, common bugloss
Medicinal Properties: Pectoral, cordial, aperient

It is excellent to bathe sore inflamed eyes with tbe tea. Taken internally, the tea cleanses the blood and is effective for fevers, yellow jaundice, to expel poisons of all kinds due to snake bites, insect stings, etc., strengthens the bears, is good for cough, itch, ringworms, tetters, scabs, sores, ulcers. Use as a gargle for ulcers in mouth and tbroat, and to loosen phlegm.
