Botanical Name: Eretchites hieracifolius
Common Names: Pilewort, various leaved fleabane
Medicinal Properties: Astringent, tonic, emetic, alterative

Is strongly astringent; therefore, most excellent in diseases of the mucous membranes, colon troubles, cholera, and dysentery, and will quickly relieve pain in these conditions. Is almost a specific for piles. Very effective for children for summer complaints. It gives prompt relief when taken very hot. Excellent remedy for fevers, as a tonic, and will purify blood.
