Herb Warrick

Herb Warrick

Some sad news for Chapter 30 Pioneers - Herb Warrick, retired VP Planning and Engineering, passed away October 2, 2012. Herb has been a great friend to Pioneers and especially to our Museum of Communications. He was also a great boss. We will miss him. Our deepest sympathy to his wife and family.

The service for Herb will be held at the Mercer Island Presbyterian Church, 3605 84th Ave SE, October 13, at 2:00 p.m. Herb was a Cascadian Life Member Club Pioneer.

What To See

The museum reveals the history of the telephone and the central office switches that make it all work. Exhibits from 1876, starting with a model of Alexander Graham Bell's first attempt at creating a communications device, to the modern phone that we all take for granted today. Automated displays and special exhibits permit hands on participation. A self guided tour is available as well as guided tours provided by the volunteers. .
