Description

Starting a web-resource which can provide some information about environmental newsletters, journals, etc. to users of Net. Creation on the same web-resource a forum where users can contact with each other in order to inform about hot environmental news from all over the world
1) We can contact GreenPepper - it is
youth international environmental newslletter.

2) We can contact commercial and non-commrecial
electronic newsletters (as, for example, Green Gallon
Letter)

3) I can advertise our site in Russian internet
(socalled, 'zone RU') - as soon as address will
be known I'll do it

4) I can write some important environmental news
from Russia.
(BTW: the hot news in ecology from Russia:
The state Commette in ecology was abolished
by decree of President Putin. So, there is no
state orgnization in Russia which supervises
in the field of ecology. -- I'll write about it
more, if it's interesting)

5) We can advise to American and other foreign
journalist in questions related to state of
environment in Russia. Maybe, something like
FAQ service.

6) We can give some useful links not only
to journals, newsletters, but to site with
environmental infopmation
(for example, www.goscom.ru - site
of abolished Comettee in ecology).

Additional Notes

Please, write for Vladimir Stark to my email - eco@green.urc.ac.ru.
He is our adviser in English and German; also, he is a specialist in
ecological psychology.
BTW, I can introduce our team. Dmitry is our net coordinator. I'm
an environmental journalist and a specialist in forestry ecology.
##
I'll describe how I see this project, but, certainly,
we can correct and reform it.

So, the main aim of the project is facilitating for access to
environmental information.

In short words, the feature of our project is exchange of env. info
between 1) journalists; 2) publishers (newspapers, periodicals, etc.);
3) and any free source of information.
As a free source of information it may be any free e-conferences,
mail-lists, and - IT'S IMPORTANT - ecological NGOs which is interested
in distributing their environmental information.

That's why I guess our "Forum..." must provide following services:

1) database of periodicals interested in env. information from
different parts of the world

2) database of environmental journalists who wants to write for
some periodicals from all over the world

3) links to any Internet services where users can get env.
information; contact information of NGOs which is interested
in distributing their env. information

4) forum where users of our site will be able to exchange
their information, opinions, etc. (of course in the frame
of the subject of our site).

5) environmental news -- we can place our own news
or news what somebody leave on the forum.

Although I wrote 'all over the world' maybe it would be
more effective if we would pay more attantion to information
from our regions (Urals and Seattle).
