Note: Unless noted differently, all Wednesday classes will be held in Lib 1706 and all Saturday classes will meet in Lib 1612. Our seminar breakout rooms for both Wednesday and Saturday are Lib 1505 and Lib 1507.

Journal question (Journal #2): In Lessig's opinion innovation and choice are heavily intertwined with the future of the Internet 'commons'. To what degree do you agree/disagree that the 'commons' and innovation/choice sink or swim together? Are there other forces at work that Lessig might not be including?

Do you agree/disagree with his analysis? Wny or why not? And are there other mechanisms you might suggest in place of, or in addition to, the 'creative commons' that might help alleviate the situation?
