The Ave Group

Are you ready for jubilation? The mayor has OK'd the original construction schedule for the Ave, and work will start as planned in 2002! Thanks to all of you who provided moral support during our recent lobbying efforts and to city staff who made sucha a firm case for a go-ahead.

Now it's our turn to perform, starting Monday, March 19, 4 PM, at the Kaplan Center, 4216 University Way NE. First, we'll look at John Owen's lay out of our artist's concepts. Then, we'll talk seriously about what it will take to prosper during the construction period and how much funding we'll need.
