PROVISIONAL AGENDA

University Area Transportation Study

This study is a Strategic Planning Office project, with Jon Layzer as project manager. He will give us an overview of the study -- scope, timeline, goals, and current status. This meeting provides a good opportunity for community reaction to the study, particularly further community involvement. (See or for more information about the transportation study.)

Intermediate Capacity Transit (ICT) Study

SPO is also in the middle of evaluating corridors for major transit investments (tram, monorail, bus rapid transit). The 45th Street corridor through Wallingford and the U District was included in Phase I and may still be under consideration for further study. Roosevelt Neighbors' Alliance is developing a statement on the 45th Street corridor that they would like to discuss with the Sounding Board.
