Over 1000 volunteers within various partner organizations are committed to the preparation and sustainability of the project. ... This project will be a prototype for twenty other schools to follow..."

Scooters of Seattle
   Vicky Tamaru

"I spent every waking hour at school either studying or on... Radio Free Hawaii as the unfamed (or perhaps even slightly famed) Poptart Seance. Island life served to be oppressing. I wanted to be far away from the pastel plastic scooters... an ex-boyfriend had once told me there were Vespas to be had on the 'mainland.'"
