Peace Heathens' Seattle Crisis Resource Directory
-
"Where do you go online to find out about
sliding scale medical services in Seattle?
How about needle exchange?
Or parenting resources? Unlike many other
crisis resource directories, we view our primary audience as users of
services, not social service professionals. If you are interested in working
with us, you can e-mail us at
heathens@scn.org or call the Peace
Heathens' message phone, (206) 547-0862."

Seattle Sites of the Week:
- Laura's Homepage: Parenting
-
"The site features parenting
resources, and Laura's Homepage from Seattle. She talks about
natural parenting,
described as 'attachment parenting.' Laura lives in Seattle, and also is
an excellent resource on interracial issues.
"When I first looked, the domain's index page, www.kjsl.com, appeared to
be nothing more than a sales site for used computers, mostly running
FreeBSD, and VAXes running VMS. Further browsing leads to an eclectic
collection of personal pages, many of which belong to executives of some
of Silicon Valley's star companies, including two pages about Mooneys."

- Pasado's Safe Haven
-
"Hi, I'd like to recommend the web site for a dedicated,
grassroots, animal refuge that's here in the NW. Pasados Safe
Haven (named after the childrens farm donkey that was beaten to
death several years ago) is a sanctuary for abused and neglected
animals, in particular farm animals, some of which have been
rescued from livestock auctions and slaughter yards. Ike and
Tina Turkey live there, two donkeys named Fred and Ginger, one
of the calfs that was shot by teenagers out in Puyallup several
months ago, and several other animals, each with their own story
of how they came to live at the beautiful farm sanctuary. Please
check it out, and help if you can!! www.pasadosafehaven.org"
- Thanks, Chris
