Seattle Sites of the Week:
- GeoEducation: Education Reform from the Radical Middle!
-
"With the Seattle Times' release of its new School Guide, I looked for sites
with grassroots views of local education issues. To be blunt, I don't like
this site. But it does talk about some interesting and controversial things,
from a very unofficial point of view. For example, it's one of the few sites
to mention the Mr. Mak controversy.
S.O.S.
(Substitutes of Seattle) gives a substitute teachers organization's
reviews of many schools' 1996-1997 administrations.
- Seattle League of Women Voters: Current Issues in Education
-
"The Seattle League of Women Voters' Current Issues in Education presents
the results of the first half of their two-year (1995-1997) study of
Seattle schools."
- R. Clark
