- Cascade Bicycle Club
and Seattle Bicycle Club
-
"Seattle's Cascade Bicycle Club (http://cascade.org) is the largest
cycling club in the US. They do everything from group rides to
lobbying on behalf of cyclists (how do you think we got those
trails?).
The upstart Seattle Bicycle Club (http://www.seattlebike.org)
is much smaller, very focused on group rides.
And there are lots of other bike clubs around here:
Washington
bicycle clubs.
- Dan Tenenbaum: My Trip to Cuba
-
"And if biking around the northwest is just not exotic enough for you,
check out Dan Tenenbaum's photos of his recent trip to Cuba. Note
especially the pictures of a
unique
bicycle-raising device."
- Joe Mabel
- Different Spokes (see Team Seattle: Sports Contacts)
-
"I'd like to suggest Different Spokes, Seattle's Gay/Lesbian bicycling
organization. They do not have a WWWeb site but their contact information
is available at the link above."

- Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
-
"It is almost too late, but it might be fun to have the Skagit
Valley Tulip Festival as one of the options. The festival runs
from 4/2 - 4/18. I think folks in Seattle like knowing about it."
- Terry
- Foolproof: The Northwest Comedy Festival
-
"Foolproof is putting on their first annual Comedy festival, starting
April 19th. They're a nonprofit trying to promote the understanding
of the value of humor for human well-being and health. We're
volunteering 'cause we think its such a GREAT idea to promote more
humor in the world! Check it out and see if there are any shows you'd
like to see ;-) (we still need a couple of volunteers, if anyone's
interested)."
