- Woodland Park Zoo
-
"It speaks volumes about Seattle's role in cyberspace that our
local zoo's web page can be found at the simple URL of
www.zoo.org. While not a particularly excitingly constructed
website, the 'virtual tour' does have a first rate collection of
photos of the animal denizens of Woodland Park Zoo, and there
are some good articles on the zoo's role in conservation.
"There is also (under Information) a good collection of links to
other zoos' websites. However, there is a surprising lack of
taking advantage of the web to show animals in the wild, provide
information about how these animals live in the wild, or even to
link to sites which might fill in this void."
