"Sunday, Nov 14th 10-4 pm and Sunday, Dec 12th 10-4 pm...
Restore habitat for native birds & plants. Earn community
service hours. Meet other great people like yourself! Anyone who
wants to help! The Seattle Audubon Society, Magnuson Park
Environmental Stewardship Committee, and the City of Seattle
Department of Neighborhoods is working to restore a 14 acre
segment of land at Magnuson Park called the Promontory Point
Natural Area to its original wildlife habitat. ... We will plant
native plants to improve habitat, remove invasive plants, make
signs to educate park-users about the project, and improve the
trail system. Tools and a snack provided. Please RSVP if you
can!"
