- Hobson's Choice
-
"I think Real Change is --
unfortunately -- always an important resource. They do so many good things.
But the need just keeps growing faster than the services for the poor and
homeless...
"Didn't get that board game you wanted for Christmas, Bucky? Don't fret.
Just go to http://www.realchangenews.org/hobsons/ and play the Hobson's
Choice game. It can be a riot. After a few rounds, you may even stop your
sniveling and be thankful for the many gifts you do have."

- Songs of the Century
-
"Songs of the Century lists at least one song for every year of
the Twentieth Century. Not a song written or recorded that year,
but a song that mentions that year, either in the lyrics or in
the title. This took a lot of work. And it was a lot of fun.
Just to give you an idea how eclectic the list is, the first
five years of the century are represented, respectively, by Liz
Damon's Orient Express, Woody Guthrie/Pete Seeger/Jack Elliot,
W.J. Taylor, Randy Newman, The Band, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
View it now before the links rot!"

- Night Work -
Writings About Waltz
-
"The site is for Night Work: A Collection of Writings About
Waltz, a small literary work of fiction, poetry, and essays
written by waltzers in the North West. This is a volunteer
project done solely for the love of the dance... I hope you have
time to take a look and that you like what you see."
