Recent Events

Earthcorps and City of Seattle Re-Leaf Program

The Re-Leaf program provided trees to homeowners in the Westwood Neighborhood and other nearby neighborhoods to increase the tree canopy of Seattle. The trees were distributed on December 5th and 6th, 2009.

Block Watch Program

If you would like to be involved with your neighborhood block watch, please e-mail Benjamin Kinlow (ph. 206-684-7724) at the Seattle Police Department to connect you with your block watch captain.

Public Safety

If you want to hear about crime trends in West Seattle and our neighborhood, West Seattle Crime Prevention Council meets monthly to discuss current trends and for residents to notify our Southwest Community Police Team of new issues in the neighborhood.

Additionally, Seattle Neighborhood Group, works with community organizations on crime prevention.
