Our locationsign

Westwood Neighborhood is the West Seattle neighborhood between SW Holden Street at the north and SW Roxbury Street in the south, SW 35th Avenue to the west and Delridge Way SW to east. We are our own little "town", with a library, high school, middle school, elementary school, fire department station, medical services, shopping center, Post Office, stores, restaurants, community center with a swimming pool, and athletic facilities (Sealth/Denny Field).

Who We Are

The Council is an open group of neighbors working together to improve and maintain the quality of life in the Westwood community. Read our online brochure to learn more about the Westwood Neighborhood Council.

Neighborhood Plan

We are currently early in the process with the City of Seattle working through various community meetings updating the 1999 Neighborhood Plan. Neighborhoods are often grouped together that share a common boundary. We share our neighborhood plan with our neighbors to the east in Highland Park. Neighborhood plans identify to the city our focus for development, traffic, pedestrians, zoning and other aspects.
