- Civic Capital Project
-
Civic Capital is a moderated town forum. Every few weeks, the Civic Capital
site will display a group of news stories and opinions from community
political groups dealing with a different local issue. (The current issue is
the race for Governor.) One goal of the Project is to evaluate different
ways to organize online discussions. Because many people don't feel
comfortable expressing themselves in the face of Usenet's sometimes abusive
anarchy, Civic Capital hopes to investigate better ways to conduct such
discussions, and so encourage a wider range of people to participate.
