There are two email lists for Seattle Women in Black:
The larger list is for announcements-only. If you join this list, you can expect to receive one or two messages per week from the WIB coordinators. You will be informed of meeting times/places, other peace and justice events that Women in Black may want to sponsor and/or attend, and occasionally there may be calls for volunteers, such as peacekeepers. On this list, you cannot post your own comments or information. You can only read what has been posted by the WIB coordinators.
The other list is a discussion list. Traffic on this list (as on most discussion lists) varies. All women subscribed to this list have the ability to post their thoughts and concerns. They can also forward information from other lists and news sources. During times of crisis, the list will become very active, with many messages posted every day.
You can choose to change from one list to the other at any time.
