overlooking the lake ”Vierwaldstättersee”, lies the remote farm of
”Gruebisbalm”. Woods, pastures, caves, some of them being used by men thousands
of years ago, and a small river with a waterfall, which can be used as an
open air shower, add to the beauty of this place. The community is doing
organic farming, which includes a garden and some cows, for self-consumption
and for sale. Tending the forest and continuing the renovation forms is
part of their daily work too. In this forest the storm “Lothar” left last
december a lot of dammages. To prevent the woods from further dammages the
volunteers are going to help to clean it. Hard physical work.
