URGENT NOTICE! PLAINTIFFS NEEDED FOR WTO CLASS ACTION SUIT - DEADLINE NOV. 30
Attorney John Scannell is filing two class action suits on behalf of citizens whose rights were violated during the WTO conference in 1999. The filing deadline is Nov. 30, 2001. Please contact him if you were pepper sprayed, tear gassed, etc. or had your rights violated during the conference. Contact the Action Employment Law Office: (206)624-3685
Citizens who filed claims against the city during the mass filing of Nov. 30, 2000 are especially encouraged to contact Scannell. The suit needs a few plaintiffs to get the process going but potentially hundreds will qualify. It's imperative that you contact him immediately, before the Nov. 30th deadline. If you have access to the list of claimants, please have them contact John.
John is also interested in pursuing a seperate class action suit for people who were abused on Capitol Hill, also with a Nov. 30, 2001 deadline. Stand up for your rights!
Activists and community leaders are being encouraged to spread the news ASAP.
Please post this notice(without my return email address) on any website or applicable list. This must be done immediately if the filing is to be qualified by the courts. Let folks know at meetings, etc. Call your friends.
