CUADP provides a refreshingly humane and thoughtful approach toward understanding people's fears of crime while still asserting that we must abolish the death penalty. CUADP focuses on public education campaigns and smart approaches to grassroots activism. MVFR is an organization of families of murder victims who work to abolish the death penalty. MVFR's understanding of "reconciliation" means "accepting you can't undo the murder but you can decide how you want to live afterwards." Recognizing that the death penalty only perpetuates the cycle of death, they have chosen to help society heal by abolishing it.

National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP)

NCADP is the only fully staffed national organization exclusively devoted to abolishing capital punishment. The Olympia FOR works in the greater Thurston County WA area for peace, nonviolence and social justice.
