SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 47th Annual Fellowship of Reconciliation Regional Conference July 1 - 4, 2005, at Seabeck, Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation is an international faith-based organization whose members are committed to working to achieve justice and peace through non-violent means. This year's regional Conference theme is "NONVIOLENT RESISTANCE." The retreat includes talks, workshops, music, and recreation, at a beautiful wooded conference center at Seabeck, Wa, on the Hood Canal. Workshops will cover a variety of justice and peace-making topics, from local to global. Cost for adults will be $45- 50 for registration and $122 - 158 for lodging (3 nights) and food (8 meals, breakfast Saturday through lunch Monday). The registration materials contain more information about the program, as well as space for all participants to indicate willingness to perform needed volunteer jobs (although most of the cooking and cleaning is done by paid employees at Seabeck). We strive for diversity of age, race, ethnic background, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, and family situation. Full or partial scholarships to the retreat are available to those who would not otherwise be able to attend. Membership in F.O.R. is not considered in granting scholarships; we encourage all those interested in the conference to apply.
