The Wooden Yacht Racing Association, since 1990, coordinates a series of regattas (races) for wooden boats. WYRA is an association between The Ancient Mariner Sailing Society (Tacoma, WA) , The Center for Wooden Boats (Seattle, WA), The Wooden Boat Foundation (Port Townsend, WA), The Victoria Real Estate Board (British Columbia) and the Vancouver, B.C. Wooden Boat Society. From Liberty Bay in Poulsbo to Port Townsend to Lake Union in Seattle to Vancouver and Victoria B.C., wooden boats and their owners get together, race and have fun sailing their timeless classics.
