Do you need someone to organize, set up, or check your business or start up's chart of accounts, financial records, Point of Sale system, or books? Have you s l o w l y come to the realization that you don't know how to use your financial accounting software and it is affecting your bottom line and your sleep? Are you embarrassed by the state of your books (don't worry, I've seen worse)? Does the thought of spending time doing the bookkeeping side of your business send you into a depression? Would you rather make more money doing what you do best rather than dealing with the Castor Oil of paperwork? Or maybe you like to suffer? Has your company grown to the point where it would be nice to have someone, perhaps a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with additional certification in Intuit's Point of Sale (POS) and Enterprise software like myself come in on a regular basis to solve your problems as well as train, tutor, teach, and instruct you and your staff in QuickBooks® (for Windows or Mac), and assist you in your bookkeeping and financial reports and let you make more money by doing what you really enjoy doing? Or would you rather sit in the dark? Well, let's chat on the phone for up to 30 minutes free of charge about what your problems are, what I can do for you, what would be the best QuickBooks software to use for your industry, and to bounce ideas off of. After all, it can be pretty lonely running a business. We all need to talk about it with someone in the same boat. You can start the process by sending me an e-mail with your contact information and what you want to achieve. You’ve hired an attorney, accountant, insurance broker, business coach, public relations expert, marketing, and other professional consultants to help you set up, start and manage or run your business. Shouldn’t you hire someone to teach you how to effectively use the accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management software that you will be relying on to discover how well you are (or aren't) doing? Or generate an accurate profit and loss statement for your lender when you decide to expand or buy a competitor or another business? Or would you rather walk in the dark with no financial lantern? I can help you solve some of the following common accounting software, bookkeeping issues and problems:
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, completed two years of law school at Seattle University, was the former operations and office manager with a "cents" of humor for a professional services (architectural) firm that did around 2 million a year in business, had 15-18 employees, and a 22-30% profit margin. During my two and half years with the firm, I was invited to speak about my experiences with QuickBooks and office management issues at my professional association's national convention. Previously, I was a career temporary (administrative assistant) for seven years, securities arbitrator, real estate agent, VISTA volunteer for Solid Ground (formerly Fremont Public Association), and patient financial and collections representative for the UW Medical Center. All you have to gain is your self-confidence and self-respect by making your bookkeeping and accounting software program work for you, instead of the other way around. My goal is to teach you how to make your own financial bread for yourself and work myself out of a job except for regular checkups (and hopefully, lots of referrals from you!) And as for the question you've been wondering while you were reading this web page, as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with additional certification in Intuit's Point of Sale (POS) and Enterprise software and former "COO", I offer three price tiers. You can hire me on an hourly basis for $120 if you have a particular problem and I come to you. If you need more time, I provide a price break and only charge $295 for coming to you to provide up to three hours of set up, review, and/or training (I find that three hours works for most folks which is why I offer this special rate.) That's a savings of $65 off my hourly rate for the same period. Additional hours are $90 an hour so you can learn how how to fish for yourself (or make Tofu if you are a vegan), the freedom to sleep at night and count pennies instead of sheep, and to sit and count your profits in the light. Or you can pay me $1,195 and get unlimited in person, e-mail, and phone support for a year if you use QuickBooks Pro or Premier (and are not using the advanced functions of the latter.) Training can be anywhere in King or Snohomish Counties and I don't charge for travel in those two counties. I may be willing to go outside those counties if I can double book students (in the morning and afternoon or evening) to maximize my time and reduce my travel time and expenses. Payment is expected at the time of service. I take cash, checks, PayPal, Google Checkout, Revolution Money Exchange (Steve Chase of AOL's latest venture: it's free to send and receive money), and Mastercard and Visa. Same day appointments are sometimes available. References gladly exchanged. And if you respond today, I will throw in a fully featured, unlimited use copy of QuickBooks Simple Start 2008 Edition for Windows which can be used to keep track of common household or business sources of income or expenses but you can't use online banking and the opportunity to save up to 20% off on QuickBooks Online if you are currently using it or on other QuickBooks products such as QuickBooks for the Mac, Pro, Premier (all versions including Contractor, Distributors, Manufactuers, Professional Services, NonProfit, Retail, and Wholesalers) and Enterprise. Keith Gormezano "Dr. QuickBooks and Quicken": I make house calls to fix your financial aches and pains and to teach you how to fish for yourself (or make Tofu if you are a vegan.)
