- Using the World Wide Web to go to places I have never visited.
- Reading all the interesting catalogs which arrive each week to be recycled.
- Blue Parrot, a shop in Wallingford who supports local populations in Central America and offers nice handmade clothes.
- Zero Population Growth Shop in Wallingford. A great place for flavored condoms.
- Fremont Neighborhood, the center of the Universe, of course and my old neighborhood.
- Broadway Neighborhood, always active day and night.
- Pioneer Square, old Seattle.
- Pike Place Market where I buy a La Panier croissant every chance I get.
- Seaside, Oregon (try the walk to Cannon Beach).
- Santa Cruz, CA and Carmel, CA. Old tourist towns with a touch.
- Wallingford Center and Neighborhood.
- Antique Row, Greenwood Neighborhood
- Sanchez Bakery, Burien (Mexican style sweet breads).
- Gentlemen's Consignment, where I buy 20% of my shirts and Ralph Lauren polo shirts and pants (my uniform a friend calls it when worn with my Nordstrom's braided brown belt and HH Brown shoes and always short, trimmed hair).
