There's no reason not to support medical use

To the Editor, I can see no good reason to continue the prohibition of medicinal marijuana. It's safe, effective and poses no danger whatsoever to our society. Herbs were grown to the people by God Almighty. Doctors -- not politicians or police - should decide which medicines or treatments patients can utilize.
