Rear seat mount: Rear seat back is secured by seatbelt bolts (2) through upper boltholes in bracket in bottom of seatback, and by 2 bolts (7/16 heads) at top. By removing the upper bolts, the seatback folds down. The rear seat cushion is not attached to the airframe. In addition, there are about 7 bolts which attach a fairing to the spar tunnel. The fairing is mounted with small trim screws to the bottom of the seat back. These 7 bolts appear to be part of an earlier-installed seat attachment or cargo net, as the trim screw attachment offers no structural support. The fairing is presently removed. 4. Roll trim with flap up-stops: Do not bend ailerons for roll trim. Flap up-stops can be used to accomplish roll trim. This is not in the maintenance manual, and is probably a holdover from earlier models such as M20B. The up-stops are at the outboard edges of the flaps.
