Sisters Community Garden

E-mail for info | Garden Goals | Guidelines | SOAR Contract | Church Agreement

The mission of the Sisters Community Garden is to provide:
garden plots for rent, gardening education, a source of locally adapted plants,
a community gathering place
and to promote intergenerational contact.

Wish list:

Deer fencing
Tool shed
Greenhouse
Organic fertilizer
Mycorrhizae

The Sisters Community Garden will rent garden plots to all comers. Plots will be available in various sizes probably starting at $15 per year.

Volunteers will be needed for fencing.

E-mail to request a plot, suggest changes to the Garden Goals or Guidelines, or to indicate interest in the Garden.

The Garden may be located behind the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at 386 N. Fir Street or on the SOAR property near the High School. The SOAR location could be used for crops like corn, cucumbers and cantaloupe that require more space than a regular plot.
