  1. dictionary.oed.com: OED Online,but you have to go through a library with a subscription...
  2. spl.org: Seattle Public Library and kcls.org: King County (Washington) Library,
  3. lib.washington.edu/types: entry to the University of Washington Library resources, but most are restricted
  4. uwasa.fi/viestintatieteet/terminology: the new site for Terminology links at the University of Vaasa, Finland -- dictionaries, glossaries, and more
  5. iep.utm.edu: The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
  6. reference.com: an encyclopedia, dictionaries, thesauri, more
  7. rhymezone.com: find rhymes and quotations, read documents, and more

  9. babelfish.yahoo.com and translate.google.com: both offer language translation via text input or Web address
