So many websites, so little time....

This catalog of bookmarks was first begun years ago, when Yahoo was still in its infancy and Google didn't yet exist. It was very useful then, and although less so now, it's still worthwhile.

Its fifth major revision was in January 2007, when it was again re-organized and its links updated. The first six categories (dealing mostly with progressive political issues) were added, the others were edited, all the links were cleaned up, and some new pictures were posted.

As of January 2009, two years since that last overhaul, it's overdue for another. Even so, these lists are still useful (and the pictures are still pretty).

I like to see the URL for the link to a website (it hints at the authority of the page), but tired of seeing all those http://'s and www's and trailing slashes. Where they occurred in the links on all the pages that follow, I took them out.
