Geoff has been teaching beginning swing at Skagit Valley College in Oak Harbor for the past year, and Nora is an always-in-demand swing and Lindy Hop partner in the local dance community. We'll teach you the basic East Coast swing step and several cool moves, along with some pointers that separate the "cool" dancers from the pedestrian. Persian Design Area Rug: Size: (6'-7" x 9'-10"). The rug is new and unused. It was produced on an Axminster Loom in Holland by the Van den Brink and Campman Co. (established in 1897). The pile is 100% virgin New Zealand wool, mothproofed. The pile is very dense (78,000 double wool yarns per square yard), and the rug will easily last a lifetime in the home with routine care. Art photo diptych, taken in Peru. Two large framed original black and white photographs by photographer Barbara Barry. These two images are a diptych, a pair of images meant to hang together. They are new images from her recent trip to Ollantaytambo, Peru, a remote village deep in the Sacred Valley. This is part of her new work in progress, a series entitled "The Spirit of the Place." Documentary Video "Dreams and Nightmares": 10 copies of "Dreams and Nightmares" (1974, 54 minutes) by Brooklyn-born carpenter Abe Osheroff, now of Seattle, who was wounded while fighting fascists in the Spanish Civil War. He was a member of the International Brigade, whose ranks were over 25% Jewish, with Yiddish as the common language. Some 35 years later he returned with a camera to Spain, still under Franco's rule, in search of validation of his youthful passion. Value: Priceless.
