Interests of mine include hiking, botany, geology, amateur radio, vacuum tube electronics, left-wing politics, and being generally thankful for how polite Portland drivers are to bicyclists (in contrast to Seattle and especially the Bay Area). Now if I could only encourage them to drive less and start taking better advantage of Portland's network of bicycle routes and a mass transit system that (by American standards) is very good for a city of this size....
