FRIDAY EVENING

"They Gathered For A Good Time"

Shall we play name that person?

This is a picture of our class when we were
in the fifth grade.

Everyone gathered Friday night for a good time. We talked, ate, and were entertained by each other and our guests.

This is a picture of the group Friday evening.

Some of our classmates were the most entertaining of all.

This is another picture of some of the group
singing.

The decorations were fun and historic. The space was filled with classmates, class reunion decorations and the natural decor of the outbuilding.

We sat, talked, joked and ate. We were
always good at eating.

Johnny Huntsman and his girls sang to us.

Johnny remembered me this time, every other
reunion I have gone to he thought I was Jane.

The evening came to a close too soon but we needed out rest to get ready for Saturday (some of us anyway). If you didn't come Friday night you missed a really great time.

SATURDAY EVENING

"Then They Dressed Up And Gathered For A Good Time"

First you check in and get your name tag, then you "donate" to the cause.

This is a picture of the checkin desk as one
of our classmates gets his doorprize drawing ticket.

Some people felt a need to sit and talk before we even got started.

Saturday evening was filled with people
checking out name tags and trying to figure out who everyone was.

Of Course We Had The Yearbooks, how else do you think we knew who we were?

Irene and Joyce were among the yearbook and
newspaper checkers.

Do we know these people?

Annette Admire Wells, Ruth Ann McNutt
Swearingen, and Linda Sevier were among the few I could identify without
their name tags.

We're ready, let's eat.

And I could also identify John Adams Duberry
and Bobby Joe and Elaine Crisler.

And here are some more starving classmates.

And everybody could identify Bill Skaggs,
who would have thought he would become part of our state government.

At last, the food line, and it went really fast.

And then there is Alan Welles and Lee Capps,
Missouri government is in big trouble.

Which of our classmates are these?

And of course the fellows had to dress up
(in dresses) and sing to us.

The entertainer's receive congratuations on a job well done.

Booby Joe and Elaine worked really hard,
seemed like Bobby Joe got all the congrats though.

And the class reunion committee deserves a big "Thank You" from all of us.

We really did have a wonderful time. To
those who didn't come Friday cause they didn't want to attend a kegger,
let me assure you that we are past our youth. The diet pop went first.
And to those of you who live in town and didn't come cause - I see those
people all the time - well you missed the rest of us.

And we come to the end of another reunion. It was great, worth the trip and fun seeing everyone, but don't you wish everyone had turned up? A huge thank you to the committee and especially to Elaine for all the hard work.

THE END

Many of us continued the weekend. After all when you spend big bucks to get to Liberty, you want to visit with all your friends. But there is a penalty to pay for walking the square.

The feet seem to wear out earlier these days.
