Fall is here, it's time to dig out that bicycle and go riding! Mike is sponsoring the Cycling Group for both informal and organized rides. Moderate pace of 14-16 mph, possibly higher depending on the group. Medium distance. Lets go camping! On Friday evening, August 22nd we will carpool to Twin Harbors State Park (about 2 ½ hours southwest of Seattle near Westport, WA) where we have two adjoining campsites reserved for Friday and Saturday night. We aren't camping on the beach, but within close walking distance.

The campsites feature fire pits, restrooms, running water, and even showers (50 cents for 3 minutes). There are trees and heavy vegetation, with a beach, lighthouse and other fun stuff to do nearby. Those interested can come up Friday night or Saturday. Exact cost will depend on number of people who come; the fees will be split for the sites. Carpooling is encouraged as there is a $10.00 fee per car per site. Hiking trails nearby, beachcombing etc... as well as great company. The town is about 5 miles away, so there may be opportunity for a bit of nightlife if that is what people want. Cost is approximately $15-$25; reservations are a MUST. It's fall, and once again it's time to DO THE PUYALLUP! that's right, join us for the Puyallup Fair. On Saturday, September 13th, Stephanie & Rebecca will be sponsoring a trip to the fair. We'll meet at 9:00 AM at the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and "Do the Puyallup". Great food, fun rides, shows, exhibits and of course the animals. You can purchase discounted fair admission tickets at participating Safeway stores and Columbia bank location for $7.50, otherwise regular price admission at the gate is $9.00.
