TRANSITION OVER A
DECADE: 1982-1992
As we already know, Chevy
introduced more than carburetion systems to "the Camaro's heart":
Cross-Fire Injection (CFI), which is
known as "little more extra of Throttle-Body Injection (TBI)," then
Multi-Port Fuel Injection (MFI), and there comes Tuned-Port Injection
(TPI). TPI had revolutionalized Camaro's power output, which was somewhere
around 230 HP with 300 ft-lb toward the end of this decade.
